The Regional Platform to Fast Track the Implementation of UNCAC in Eastern Africa is a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) initiative bringing together ten (10) countries in Eastern Africa namely: Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, United Republic of Tanzania and Uganda to identify common gaps in their anti-corruption legal and institutional frameworks and define shared solutions and technical assistance needs.

The Inspectorate of Government in collaboration with the regional office of Eastern Africa of UNODC under the umbrella of EAAACA held a baseline mapping exercise from 20th to 21st January 2025. A baseline report was developed. To discuss the baseline report, an Anti-Corruption roundtable was organized with heads of anti-corruption agencies and their technical experts on 4th June and later on 5th June, a stakeholder engagement was organized with partners to present the outcomes of the consultation, solicit feedback in order to finalize the Anti- Corruption road map and explore areas of cooperation to implement the initiatives.
