The Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network for Eastern Africa (ARINEA), the network for EAAACA held its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Steering Group Meeting, and Asset Recovery Workshop. 

The meetings were convened under the theme, “Unmasking Beneficial Ownership in the Fight against Corruption and Recovery of Assets”. The theme highlights the critical link between transparency in beneficial ownership and the ability to trace, seize, and recover illicitly acquired assets.

During the meetings, there was a training on the use of the ARINEA Secure Information Exchange Platform.
